Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the Rüya Defteri (Dream Journal — AI Interpretation) mobile application ("the App") published by Codebiy ("we," "our," or "us"). It explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use the App:

• •Dream journal content: the dream titles, descriptions, moods, categories, tags, and dates you record
• •Account information: the App signs you in anonymously by default; if you choose to create an account, we collect your email address
• •Purchase information: subscription status and token balance, processed through Apple and RevenueCat — we never see your payment details
• •Usage and device data: app interactions, crash logs, device model, OS version, and language, used to improve the App
• •Advertising identifiers: used by Google AdMob to serve ads on the free tier, subject to your tracking permission choice

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide the dream journal and synchronization across devices, to generate AI interpretations and visualizations you request, to manage your subscription and token balance, to send the reminders you schedule, and to maintain and improve the App. We do not sell your personal information.

AI Processing of Dream Content

When you request an interpretation or visualization, the text of that dream is sent to OpenAI's API (GPT models for interpretations, gpt-image models for images) to generate the result. Dream content sent through the API is not used by OpenAI to train its models. AI output is generated automatically and is intended for self-reflection and entertainment only — it is not medical, psychological, or professional advice.

Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following service providers:

• •Supabase — authentication and encrypted cloud storage of your journal
• •OpenAI — AI interpretation and image generation
• •RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management
• •Google AdMob — advertising on the free tier
• •Expo — push notification delivery for reminders

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account inside the App, or by emailing us. Deletion removes your dreams, interpretations, generated images, and account records from our systems.

Data Security

Your journal is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Access to your dream content is restricted to your account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under Türkiye's KVKK and the EU's GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights in the App or by contacting us at the address below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated inside the App.
